NOMADIC WRITER’S RESIDENCY

The Nomadesk Writer’s Residency is a site-specific-residency in Toronto, Canada. It is an experiment in nomadic authorship and writing in public space. This incarnation of the residency intends to generate content for the Free City Paper, published as part of a gallery exhibition by Jp King at Whippersnapper gallery.

The Nomadesk is a traveling writer’s studio cobbled together from a wheelchair, a desk, and a real typewriter.

Residencies* are available throughout August, in 30-min to 2-hours slots.  A small portable library is avalable for inspirational reading material. Coffee will be served if available. Residencies can be static, or in-motion (with the artist pushing the author on a requested, or random, route).

If interested, send a brief note as to why you would like to participate to apply (at) nomadicresidency.com
